Please join us in congratulating Noah Pogar, the new Principal of Weikel Elementary School! He is a Colorado native and enjoys all things nature, sports, and education!
Mr. Pogar is no stranger to the Weikel community, he’s entering his 15th year at the school, having served as a teacher for 6 years, an instructional coach for 2 years, and an administrator for 6 years.
"I am honored and proud to serve military families through the leadership of Captain Ian Weikel's legacy. I am excited to begin this next journey as I lead through the lens of a student, the heart of a teacher, and the love of a parent."
Meet Assistant Principal Mears, a proud new member of the Wolfpack at Weikel! Ms. Mears began her career as a 6th and 8th grade ELA teacher at Fountain Middle School and later served as an instructional coach and Dean of Students at Jordahl Elementary. She most recently worked as an Assistant Principal in District 11 but is excited to return home to District 8. Ms. Mears brings a strong passion for student success and community connection. She looks forward to supporting Weikel’s students, staff, and families in creating a positive and engaging learning environment. Go Wolfpack!
My name is Randy Menegatti and I am delighted to serve as Weikel Elementary’s Dean for the 2025-2026 school year. With over 18 years of experience in education, spanning across various levels here on Fort Carson and in community schools, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to our endeavors.
As a Colorado native, I thrive on outdoor adventures and connecting with the natural world. I'm enthusiastic about guiding your children through both challenges and celebrations, fostering their growth along the way.
Here's to a fantastic year of learning and exploration!
